Stunning Looks
Finally got my hands on the highly anticipated Xiaomi YU7! After a week behind the wheel, here’s my honest take~
🌟 Looks That Turn Heads
The flowing gold-pink finish is absolutely breathtaking! Under the sun, it shimmers like liquid gold foil—up close, it’s a soft matte pink, while from afar, it glows with a radiant golden sheen.

The dual-layer paintwork feels incredibly premium. The sleek fastback silhouette draws attention everywhere I go. Friends even joke it looks like a “homegrown Panamera” 😂
🛋️ Next-Level Comfort
The zero-gravity seats are a dream. Front seats feature one-touch recline and massage functions, making long journeys feel effortless. Rear seats offer 135° electric adjustment for a relaxed, semi-reclined posture. That said, the seat cushions sit a bit low—taller passengers might notice less thigh support, which could lead to some fatigue over extended drives.
⚡ Power Meets Sensitivity
The AWD Max version delivers exhilarating acceleration—0 to 100 km/h in a blistering 3 seconds with serious push-back force! But the brakes are ultra-sensitive at low speeds; even a gentle tap makes the car dip forward, so it takes a bit of practice to master. Sport mode doesn’t feel as razor-sharp as the SU7, though it’s more than capable for everyday driving.
🔊 Quiet Cabin, Standard Sound
Double-layered glass ensures superb noise isolation—wind noise is nearly absent even at high speeds. The sound system, however, is just decent; despite boasting 25 speakers, it falls short of expectations—fine for casual tunes but not exactly mind-blowing.
❌ A Few Quirks to Note
1️⃣ Weak Seat Ventilation: Even on the highest setting, airflow is barely noticeable. You’ll still need to crank up the AC during hot summer days.
2️⃣ Glare-Prone SkyScreen: It packs plenty of info but is too narrow and hard to read under bright sunlight. A traditional HUD would offer better practicality.
3️⃣ Cramped Quarters: Despite measuring 5 meters long, rear headroom is just okay, and the fastback design eats into trunk opening space.
