Today, Lei Jun unveiled the full details of Xiaomi’s latest self-developed chip, the Xuanjie O1 💍, in a post on Weibo. This groundbreaking chip is manufactured using TSMC’s second-generation 3nm process and marks the first time a top-tier chip from mainland China has breached the 3nm barrier. With this achievement, Xiaomi joins an elite group of just four global companies capable of independently designing a 3nm flagship mobile processor.
The specifications of the Xuanjie O1 💍 are nothing short of impressive: a 10-core CPU featuring clock speeds of 2×3.90GHz, 4×3.40GHz, 2×1.89GHz, and 2×1.80GHz, paired with the powerful Immortalis-G925 GPU and an expansive 16-core architecture.
In another exciting development, the latest Geekbench6 scores for the fully unlocked Xuanjie O1 💍 have leaked online, revealing CPU single-core performance at 3119, multi-core at 9673, and GPU scoring an astonishing 21244. These numbers not only surpass the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 but also come tantalizingly close to the Snapdragon 8 Ultra.
Industry insiders who’ve already had early access to the chip have praised its AI capabilities, imaging ASP, and overall power efficiency, all of which deliver far more than initially anticipated.
The Xuanjie O1 will make its official debut on the evening of May 22, powering the much-anticipated Xiaomi 15S Pro.
