I was stuck between LG, Samsung, and Xiaomi in the same price range, but in the end, Xiaomi won me over.
[RecommendationR] Overall Quality
The overall build quality is impressive—there’s no cheap, plasticky feel at all. The ultra-narrow bezels on three sides lend a sleek, minimalist elegance that’s both modern and understated.

Plus, the screen tilts effortlessly and adjusts smoothly at multiple angles, whether you need it higher, lower, or tilted just right for comfort. And let’s not forget the ports—they’re comprehensive enough to cover most of your connectivity needs without any hassle.
[RecommendationR] Color Display
Right now, I’ve paired it with my MacBook, and after calibrating the colors, I realized the default settings felt a bit flat and uninspired.

After tweaking things, I chose the Display P3 color profile and aligned the monitor to DCI-P3 while leaving everything else untouched. The difference was night and day—the colors came alive, vibrant yet still strikingly close to what my MacBook delivers. The one quirk I’m still adjusting to is how the white background can appear slightly dimmer and tinged with yellow.

It could be due to the brightness capping out at 300 nits, or maybe I’ve just grown accustomed to the brilliance of Apple’s Retina display. Either way, it’s something I’ll get used to eventually. For this price point, though, I’d easily give it 90 points. You can check out the unedited photos to see the color accuracy for yourself.

[RecommendationR] Quality Control
Upon closer inspection, I did notice a tiny black speck in the lower left corner—it seems to be a dead pixel. Thankfully, its placement isn’t overly distracting, so I decided it wasn’t worth returning the unit over. As for backlight bleeding, I haven’t noticed anything significant, though I’m not entirely sure if the photos reveal any subtle issues.

All in all, considering the price tag of over 1500, it’s an excellent deal. I saw that some early buyers snagged it for 1100-1300, which makes it feel like an even better bargain [CryingLaughingR]. For now, I’ll hold off judgment until I connect it to my Mac mini M4 and see how it performs under more demanding conditions.

I’ve been eyeing this monitor myself—it sounds like Xiaomi really nailed it with the build quality and design. The ability to adjust it so easily sounds super convenient, especially for long workdays. I wonder how the color accuracy compares to those other big brands though? Might have to check it out in person before pulling the trigger.
