Xiaomi 15s Pro Launch: First Impressions and Key Features Unveiled
I got my hands on the Xiaomi 15s Pro just moments after the launch event on the 22nd. Let me tell you, the craftsmanship and attention to detail are truly impressive—personably, I’d say it outshines the Xiaomi 15 Pro.

This time around, they’ve brought in the dragon scale fiber design and the gold logo, features that were previously reserved for their high-end foldable models. These upgrades elevate the phone’s premium feel, though if your hands tend to sweat, you might find it gets a bit greasy [Crying with Laughter].

The phone case has seen a significant upgrade too—it’s now custom-made and even comes with a stylish matching lanyard, adding a touch of elegance to everyday use.

One of the standout features is the debut of Xiaomi’s self-developed Xuanjie O1 chip. I’ll be putting it through its paces over the next few days and comparing it against Snapdragon. Based on initial impressions, I think the Xuanjie could reach around 70-80% of Snapdragon’s performance. Be sure to stay tuned for the full review!

If this post gets over 200 likes, I’ll go ahead and unbox the special Xiaomi gift box [Thumbs Up] (it includes a cup, headphones, and more goodies).

The dragon scale fiber design sounds really unique—it definitely gives it a more luxurious look compared to previous models. I’m curious how it holds up in terms of durability, especially with everyday use.

The dragon scale fiber design sounds really sleek! I’ve always loved Xiaomi’s attention to detail, but I’m curious—how does the back texture feel in daily use? Does it get slippery with sweaty hands like you mentioned?
Great question! The dragon scale fiber back has a slightly textured feel that provides better grip than glossy finishes—even with sweaty hands, it stays reasonably secure. Personally, I find it strikes a nice balance between premium aesthetics and practicality. Thanks for sharing your love for Xiaomi’s design touches!

Thanks for your kind words about the design! The dragon scale texture offers a surprisingly comfortable grip—it’s tactile without being abrasive. While the gold logo is exclusive for now, Xiaomi often explores color variants in special editions. Personally, I’d love to see a matte black option too!

Thanks for your comment! The dragon scale texture offers a surprisingly comfortable grip—tactile enough for security but smooth to the touch. The gold logo is actually quite understated in person, adding just a hint of premium flair without being overly bold. I personally think Xiaomi nailed the balance between style and practicality here!
