I’ve gotten my hands on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, a truly remarkable device in Xiaomi’s lineup. It sports an unmistakably “Apple-inspired” design, drawing parallels with today’s OPPO phones. The rounded rectangle of its screen mirrors the iconic iPhone aesthetic, and at 6.83 inches, it boasts the largest display ever seen on a Xiaomi phone.
Visually, it edges out the standard 6.67-inch screens found on other Xiaomi and Redmi models, and it feels noticeably more substantial when held. Comparing its dimensions, it closely resembles the iPhone 16 Pro Max (with its 6.9-inch screen). The Redmi Turbo 4 Pro measures 7.98mm in thickness and 77.
93mm in width, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is slightly thicker at 8.25mm and narrower at 77.6mm, making the Redmi sleeker yet just a touch wider.
Thus, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro delivers a feel remarkably similar to the iPhone 16 Pro Max, though I find it less comfortable than the previous 6.67-inch designs. That said, its “Apple-like” rounded rectangle adds undeniable visual appeal. Factor in Redmi’s impressive feat of fitting a massive 7550mAh battery into this form factor, and the overall experience remains quite satisfying.
