I’ve gotten my hands on the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, a truly standout addition to Xiaomi’s lineup. This phone boasts a strikingly “Apple-inspired” design that also echoes some of today’s OPPO models. The rounded rectangular screen mirrors the iconic look of an iPhone, and with its massive 6.83-inch display, it now holds the title as Xiaomi’s largest-screened smartphone ever.
At first glance, it appears just a tad bigger than the usual 6.67-inch screens we see in other Xiaomi and Redmi devices, but when you hold it, the size difference feels much more pronounced.
Comparing its dimensions, the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro is almost identical to the iPhone 16 Pro Max (which sports a 6.9-inch screen). The Redmi measures in at 7.98mm thick and 77.93mm wide, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max is slightly thicker at 8.25mm and narrower at 77.6mm. This makes the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro marginally thinner yet a touch wider overall.
As a result, the feel of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro closely matches that of the iPhone 16 Pro Max. However, I must admit it doesn’t quite match the comfort level of the previous 6.67-inch form factor. That said, the sleek, rounded rectangle design gives it an undeniably premium appearance. And considering Redmi managed to squeeze in a whopping 7550mAh battery, the overall heft remains surprisingly tolerable.
