Should I Upgrade to 9070xt for Better Gaming Performance?
How to phrase this: I’ve upgraded the power supply and hard drive to a Seasonic 850W and an Acer 7000 2TB, adding an extra $1000 to the build. It’s tempting, but should I still hold out for the 618 sale?

First revision: Swapped out the power supply, hard drive, and case with the Lian Li 216, bringing the total increase to over $1000.
I’m considering changing the cooling system but haven’t decided yet. I was eyeing the Kurio V2 Performance Edition air cooler, but it’s unavailable at the store. Now I’m wondering if switching to a water cooler might be noisier than expected.
Second revision: Ultimately, I went with the Titan SJ-A080 360mm water cooler for the cooling upgrade.
At this point, there won’t be any more changes—my budget has already surpassed $3000, now sitting at a whopping $12k. [Facepalm]
I feel you on the upgrade dilemma—$1000+ is no small investment. The 9070xt does sound tempting for gaming performance, but waiting for the 618 sale could save some cash if you can hold off. Just make sure your PSU can handle the new card’s power draw if you decide to pull the trigger.

I’d say wait for the 618 sale unless you’re really struggling with your current setup. The 9070xt looks great, but with all those other upgrades you’ve already done, your system must be running pretty solid already. Maybe test some games first to see if you actually need the extra performance right now?
