I seized the chance with the national subsidy to purchase a Xiaomi smartwatch. Its design is sleek and sophisticated, almost reminiscent of Apple’s aesthetic, while offering impressive battery life. After wearing it for an entire day, I noticed only about 4% of the battery had been consumed. Plus, it’s fully waterproof—I even took it swimming for two consecutive days, and it performed admirably.

That said, the fitness band’s swimming tracking isn’t entirely precise. For watches in this price range, the logic for pool swimming records assumes that each directional change corresponds to one lap. However, if you switch your swimming style mid-session, it may miscalculate the distance by adding extra laps.

Additionally, it can only accurately measure the distance for one consistent swimming style at a time. On the first day, when I focused solely on practicing freestyle kicks, the watch failed to log any distance, which was somewhat disappointing. Today, I experimented with just arm strokes and breathing techniques to see if it would capture the distance.

All in all, leveraging the national subsidy to acquire this watch proved to be an excellent value. It not only looks stylish but also makes monitoring my workouts effortless. Moreover, it inspires me to maintain my swimming routine after work. I’m gradually getting back into the groove, and I couldn’t be happier about it [thumbs up]!
