Purchased on July 2nd, and I’ve already had the chance to use it for two days.
First off, the standout feature in the marketing hype is undoubtedly the noise cancellation—and let me tell you, it’s genuinely impressive. Whether you’re navigating a bustling commute or wandering through crowded shopping streets, these headphones can transport you to a serene world of silence.

However, at this price point, the lack of wind noise resistance is somewhat disappointing. With noise cancellation activated, even the gentlest breeze introduces an unsettling rumbling sound [angry face], which is certainly a drawback worth noting.
When it comes to sound quality, cutting through all the buzz, what you’re essentially getting are two large dynamic drivers bundled together.
If I were to assess just how good the sound quality truly is, I wouldn’t be overly generous with praise. After all, Sony’s WF-C500 from 2021, featuring a single 5.8mm dynamic driver, delivers sound that rivals these headphones. For fans of ACG (anime, comics, and games) music, the performance is underwhelming, to say the least.
If Japanese anime songs are your thing, prepare to be disappointed—the mid and high frequencies are muddy and lack clarity. On the flip side, if electronic music or Western styles are more your speed, these headphones shine considerably.
As for spatial audio, simply activate movie mode while watching films, and you’ll enjoy a decent experience.
For other scenarios, though, it’s rather mediocre—nothing to write home about.
Battery life, however, is commendable. Without noise cancellation, you can comfortably enjoy up to seven or eight hours of uninterrupted playback. That said, the charging case’s battery capacity leaves something to be desired; a slight upgrade in this department would have been appreciated.
In summary, for $379, I wouldn’t call it a steal, but it’s certainly worth the money. It’s a well-rounded pair of headphones, boasting excellent noise cancellation at this price range, with other features falling into the average category.
This is likely the most balanced option available at this price point.
On a scale of 10, I’d give it a solid 6.5. Of course, should the price drop to $299, it could easily merit a 7.5 [smiling face]. While not extraordinary, it’s dependable enough to satisfy most users.
I totally agree that the noise cancellation is impressive, but the wind noise issue is a bummer. It’s great how they help block out background noise, especially during commutes, but hopefully future updates address that weakness. Overall, for the price, they’re still a solid choice if you prioritize ANC.
