[Peering into the shadows R] I’ve had a chance to get my hands on the Xiaomi 15S Pro early, and here’s what I think so far.
[Grinning slyly R] The thing everyone’s buzzing about is undoubtedly the performance of Xuanjie O1. I ran a few benchmarks: it scored an impressive 2.72 million on AnTuTu, while its GeekBench6 single-core and multi-core scores rival those of the Dimensity 9400. This chip has already entered the upper echelons of performance, and it’s quite astonishing to see such power right out of the gate.
[Peering into the shadows R] After playing Genshin Impact for half an hour, the phone averaged 59.7 FPS, with the back temperature peaking at 39.1°C and power consumption at 3.6W. Heat and power management are solid, though there’s still room for improvement in frame rate consistency. On the other hand, both Honor of Kings and PUBG maintained rock-solid 120 FPS, which is nothing short of excellent.
[Thumbs up R] The design closely mirrors that of the Xiaomi 15 Pro, differing only in the slightly protruding flash and a subtle gold line around the power button. The screen now features local dimming and comes with an anti-reflective film, adding a touch of refinement to the overall experience.
[Grinning slyly R] The camera setup remains unchanged, but nighttime performance feels akin to the Xiaomi 15U—natural and lifelike. Nighttime video quality is impressively clean as well. The battery and charging system haven’t been altered, and I haven’t noticed any significant changes in battery life. So far, Xuanjie O1 has exceeded expectations.
[Looking cute R] In summary, the standout feature of this phone is undoubtedly its self-developed chip. It may not be aimed at the mass market, but it clearly demonstrates the sincerity behind the creation of Xuanjie O1. Let’s wait and see how it performs down the road. What do you all think?
