My adventure began with the whimsical carriage ride and an absolute blast playing Mario Party �.
The sleek new console design immediately caught my eye—noticeably slimmer yet slightly larger, with premium build quality that feels fantastic in hand. The Joy-Con’s mouse mode is a game-changer for Mario Party mini-games 🐶, and works surprisingly well with METROID PRIME 4’s shooting mechanics—I’m already imagining its potential in other titles!
Speaking of METROID—wow. This might single-handedly convince me to upgrade to Switch 2. Even though the demo’s final boss handed me a defeat, the game’s brilliance shone through. The mouse mode transforms controls into something magical—so intuitive and fun!
Zelda’s dual-mode test revealed a welcome upgrade: the expanded field of view makes both handheld and docked play more immersive. The staff member and I shared a laugh calling it a “lonely game”—perfect for solo TV sessions, making the larger handheld screen nice but not essential.
My visit ended with an unexpected workout—a motion-controlled game using the camera accessory had our whole group squatting and screaming like kids 🤣. Definitely the most hilarious family-friendly experience!
