The Switch 2 version of “Cyberpunk 2077” is set to bring a new level of interactivity with Joy-Con motion controls, along with the addition of touch-based functionality. Players will now have the ability to navigate menus and manage their inventory using intuitive gestures like tapping, swiping, or pinching. The game also introduces advanced aiming mechanics via the gyroscope or an enhanced mouse function, offering unparalleled precision.
“Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition” is scheduled to launch on the Switch 2 on June 5, 2025, featuring both a physical 64GB cartridge and a digital download option. In performance mode, players can expect smooth gameplay at 40 frames per second, though visuals may be rendered at an estimated resolution of 720P.
Kane suggests that for those who don’t demand exceptionally high standards in mobile gaming, opting for the console version of AAA titles remains the best choice to fully savor the intended experience.
