Frank Wang, born in 1980 in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is the visionary founder and CEO of DJI Innovations—a trailblazer in the global consumer drone industry. After graduating from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, where he specialized in flight control technology research and development, Wang established DJI Innovations in Shenzhen in 2006.

In 2013, DJI unveiled its groundbreaking first consumer-grade drone, the Phantom series, which swiftly revolutionized the market as a “flying camera” and captured the imagination of enthusiasts worldwide. Since then, with innovations like the sleek Mavic series, DJI has dominated the global consumer drone market, securing an impressive 70% share and cementing its status as the undisputed leader in the field.

Wang’s relentless commitment to technology-driven product innovation has expanded the application of drones into diverse sectors such as photography, agriculture, and mapping.
