My current setup with an RX 7900 GRE 16GB GPU and a 13600K CPU is not delivering the gaming performance I anticipated. The system, which also includes an ASRock Z690 Velocita motherboard and 32GB of Patriot Viper DDR5 RAM at 6000MT CL30, struggles with persistent stuttering and unstable frame rates in 1440p gaming. Titles like STALKER 2, Escape from Tarkov, Red Dead Redemption 2, Gray Zone Warfare, Cyberpunk, and Dying Light are affected—for instance, STALKER 2 on high settings without frame generation averages around 40fps but frequently drops to as low as 10fps every 15 seconds.
Despite performing clean installations of Windows and GPU drivers, along with reinstalling all games, the issues persist. Thermal performance is not a concern, as both the CPU and GPU remain within 68–75°C under load. As a first-time builder, I’m open to suggestions regarding potential BIOS adjustments or hardware upgrades that might address these performance shortcomings.
