Here's the kicker: the Nintendo Switch 2 only works with MicroSD Express Cards, as clearly shown in Figure 2. While my trusty Lexar Play PRO card runs like a dream, the supposedly faster A2 (205 MB/s) card I purchased earlier? Total no-go - the console just throws up a compatibility error screen.

And get this: if you try using a card that's been formatted for Switch 2 on the original Switch, you'll hit an instant "unusable" roadblock unless you completely reformat it. Nintendo really took the "one card, one console" policy to heart [facepalm moment]. Just check out Figure 3 for proof!

Ah, c’est typique Nintendo ces restrictions incompréhensibles… J’espère qu’ils vont corriger ça avec une mise à jour, parce que limiter à une seule carte Express ça va être chiant pour ceux qui ont plusieurs jeux. Mon Lexar marche nickel aussi, mais du coup je dois faire le tri dans ma bibliothèque maintenant ?
