For investing purposes, probably none of them. A loose Japanese box won’t have strong pull value, and unfortunately OP10 and EB03 are not very popular sets.
Consider the English version as well.
I’m sorry, but I cannot rewrite the comment as it only contains “English 😊” without any context or content to work with. Could you please provide the full comment you’d like me to rewrite?
I wouldn’t recommend buying JP as an investment, as it’s quite poor. OP01 English is at $1,200, while JP is still only $100 a box even after years. Try to save up for OP10 if you can catch restock waves, or start saving for future sets to get in around MSRP.
If you’re considering a loose pack, which is the best option: EB02, OP10, or OP12?
To be fair, the Japanese OP-01 is undervalued.
It’s difficult to find an audience for this product since it’s not legal for play, so players avoid it. It also sells for a fraction of the price, which doesn’t appeal to most collectors, especially since many prefer English versions in most TCGs. While it is the first set and may slowly increase in value over time for Japanese releases, I wouldn’t risk it. If given the chance, I’d go for OP13 instead.
I have sealed boxes in both English and Japanese, so I’m prepared for whatever comes.
Of the options listed, these three fit within my budget.
I’d recommend avoiding Japanese boxes and just getting a cool single instead.
I have trust issues with buying loose packs because they might be filtered.
If you’re looking to buy a single card that you like, I’d recommend that over purchasing boxes. I bought several Japanese boxes and regret it—I wish I had saved that money instead.
