My gaming system, which includes a Ryzen 7800x3d processor, 32 GB of 6000MHz RAM, an Rx 6950xt graphics card with 16GB VRAM, and an 850W Gold-rated power supply, is experiencing persistent crashes while playing Escape from Tarkov. Despite thorough testing, the hardware appears to be in good working order: GPU and CPU temperatures stay below 80°C, power consumption peaks around 600–650W—well within the PSU’s capacity—and stress tests on the GPU, CPU, and RAM for over an hour revealed no issues. I’ve also tested multiple GPU drivers and confirmed that no other games, including more demanding titles like Doom: The Dark Ages at maximum settings, cause similar problems.
The crashes occur exclusively during Escape from Tarkov PvE sessions on BSG servers, typically every one to two raids, and can happen at random moments without any specific trigger. There are two distinct types of crashes: one where the game freezes and closes without restarting the PC, and another where the screen turns black and the system reboots without warning. I’ve attempted various troubleshooting steps, such as running the game without background applications, adjusting graphics settings to low at 1440p resolution, clearing the cache, verifying game files, and checking for hardware or power-related faults—all without success. Logs from the BSG Launcher, Cef, and Windows Event Viewer (showing Event 41, Kernel-Power) are available for further analysis.
