DJI Mavic 4 Pro Leak: Latest Updates on 100-Megapixel Sensor and F2 Aperture
Starting on April 7th, DJI began rolling out training sessions for its dealers across various regions, and more product specifications started to leak. According to insiders, on May 13th, only one product will be launched: the DJI Mavic 4 PRO. The Mavic 4 CINE and Mavic 4 Classic will not be part of this release.

Once again, the RC Track (GPS beacon) feature has been canceled, with no plans for it in the future. However, the RC Pro2 controller included in the Fly More Combo features all the functions of RC Track, such as real-time GPS tracking, intelligent follow-me capabilities, and obstacle detection even behind buildings.
The main camera of the DJI Mavic 4 PRO uses a Hasselblad M4/3 CMOS sensor with a 28mm lens and boasts an impressive 100-megapixel resolution. The aperture has been upgraded from F2.8 to F2.0, allowing for stunning starburst effects when set between F8 and F11. All three cameras switch seamlessly without color deviation and support lossless vertical shooting. Additionally, the 7x telephoto lens can capture panoramic photos with incredible detail.
Here are the pricing details for the DJI Mavic 4 PRO:

Absolutely, the focus on the 100-megapixel sensor and improved aperture is exciting! While the RC Track feature was certainly popular, it’s clear DJI wants to push boundaries in imaging tech. These upgrades might add a touch more weight, but they should still maintain the drone’s portability. Thanks for your insightful comment—always great to hear what our readers think!
I’m really intrigued by the 100-megapixel sensor and F2 aperture specs on the DJI Mavic 4 Pro—it sounds like a game-changer for aerial photography. It’s a bummer about the RC Track feature being canceled though; that was something I was hoping to see stick around. Guess I’ll have to wait and see what else this drone can do when it launches.
Wow, a 100-megapixel sensor on a drone is insane! I can’t wait to see what kind of detail and low-light performance it’ll have. Too bad about the RC Track feature though, that would’ve been useful for finding lost drones. Looking forward to hearing more as we get closer to the launch date!
Absolutely agree! A 100-megapixel sensor will be game-changing for aerial photography. The low-light performance should be incredible too—can’t wait to see real-world samples. And yeah, the lack of RC Track is a bummer, but there are still so many exciting features to explore. Thanks for your thoughts!
