Convince me to spend hundreds on a console that will be outdated in two years.
The game will likely be delayed until the next generation of consoles is released. Set a reminder if you doubt it.

I bought a PS5 specifically for GTA VI, knowing it won’t release on PC at launch. While waiting, I discovered other great games on the console—I platinumed both Ghost of Tsushima games, finished Spider-Man 2, and I’m looking forward to Wolverine. With GTA VI’s recent delay, it could even be pushed to 2027. If you’re only buying a PS5 for GTA VI and don’t plan to play other games, wait until the game is actually out. But if you want to enjoy other PS5 games in the meantime, get it now and make the most of it while waiting.

I don’t understand people who won’t get a PS5 until GTA VI releases. There are so many great games available, especially if you haven’t explored the PS4 catalog yet.
Considering the PS4 was still relevant in 2018-2019 and the PS5 was about to release, it makes sense to wait for the newer console. Why spend hundreds on a PS5 now when waiting a bit longer could secure a console that will last for the next decade?
