You misunderstood. I’m saying the 3090 was about 15% faster than the 3080, which is the GPU you replaced. The 3090 was two generations ahead of the 10-series and introduced major new features like RT and DLSS, along with a significant performance leap. That’s precisely why the 3080 was hailed as the next 1080 Ti—it offered incredible value.
My point is that only a few years later, the 3080 wasn’t good enough for you. The same will be true for the 5090 compared to a future 7090.
