I recommend the Fiio Snowsky Melody. It feels incredibly lightweight and costs about the same as the KA11, but offers better value with its removable cable, full parametric EQ, and physical volume buttons.
I own both models. My KA11 has been handled carefully but has started disconnecting intermittently after nine months of use. If this happens with the Melody, replacing the cable is a more affordable solution. This is a common issue with all cable DACs—they eventually experience wear unless kept completely stationary.

These are good, but since I’ll mostly be using it with my phone, I need a portable DAC.
The Melody is probably a better choice because it’s still compact, though slightly larger than the KA11. It also has a detachable cable, which is a major advantage. I once bent the connector on my cable and was able to simply replace the cable. If that happens with your KA11, you’d need to replace the entire unit.
