Mit einem begrenzten Budget und der Möglichkeit, nur ein Spiel zu kaufen, suche ich Rat, welches Titel aus einer Liste bekannter und beliebter Optionen gewählt werden sollte. Die in Betracht gezogenen Spiele sind *Dying Light*, *Middle-earth™: Shadow of War™*, *Wolfenstein: The Old Blood*, *Wolfenstein: The New Order*, *Warhammer: Vermintide 2*, *Fallout: New Vegas*, *Garry's Mod*, *Ryse: Son of Rome* und *Mafia: Definitive Edition*. Wenn das ausgewählte Spiel preiswert genug ist, könnte ich auch *Vermintide 2* in den Kauf mit einbeziehen. Angesichts dieser Auswahl, was würdest du empfehlen?

  1. Of the two games I’ve played from your list, Fallout: New Vegas and Garry’s Mod, I can’t strongly recommend one over the other. Here’s my reasoning:

Fallout: New Vegas has an excellent story and substantial content, especially in its DLC, which surpasses Fallout 4 in those areas. However, the gameplay feels dated with issues like no sprinting and awkward character models. More importantly, I’ve encountered technical problems—even with unofficial patches, it wouldn’t run on my current computer. While your experience may differ, it’s worth noting that high-end hardware sometimes struggles with this game. For these reasons, I’d actually suggest Fallout 4, especially since it’s only about $2 more than New Vegas during the Black Friday sale.

Garry’s Mod is decent but really shines in specific community modes. I’ve enjoyed nZombies (a horde mode with custom maps and Workshop weapons), a Starship Troopers wave defense, and an Alien: Isolation-style mode with solo, co-op, or PvP options. Its replay value comes from these varied modes and multiplayer support, which Fallout lacks, though I only play it occasionally.

Neither game is a bad choice, but based on my experience, these are the considerations for each.

  2. Between New Vegas and Garry’s Mod, either is a great choice.

Vermintide’s gameplay can become repetitive over time, but New Vegas offers strong replay value, and Garry’s Mod provides endless variety with its sandbox nature.

  3. I recommend using IsThereAnyDeal to find legitimate sites selling Steam keys at lower prices and to check price history. Doom is currently only $3.99. Personally, I would either get two or three games for $3-$4 each, or one cheaper game along with Fallout: New Vegas.

    Here are some options:
    – Dying Light: $3.99
    – Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition: $6.99
    – Middle Earth: Shadow of War: $3.86

  4. Shadow of War likely offers the most gameplay for your money, and Dying Light is also a strong contender, though I haven’t played either. Fallout New Vegas, however, completely absorbed my time for years. Good luck with your choice.
