Apple Watch Ultra 3 vs. Garmin Fenix 8 Review

After several months of consistent exercise—including gym workouts, running, and cycling—I’ve decided to upgrade from my current Polar Vantage V2 to a more capable fitness watch. While the Vantage V2 has served me well, I find its features somewhat limited: the app frequently freezes, the data it provides isn’t as comprehensive as I’d like, and syncing with my iPhone can be unreliable.

I’m now considering either the Apple Watch Ultra 3 or a high-end Garmin model like the Fenix 8. Given that I intend to use this watch for years to come, I’m willing to invest in a premium device that won’t leave me wishing I’d chosen a more advanced option. Although battery life is a noted advantage of Garmin watches, it’s not a dealbreaker for me, as I don’t plan to wear the watch overnight and can charge it daily. I’d appreciate any advice on whether the Fenix 8 is a solid choice or if another model might better suit my needs.
