For gaming, consider Intel deals. While their sockets are end-of-life, the 14600K or 12400 are still solid CPUs and faster than the 5600X, unless you’re already on AMD. For your GPU, if budget is tight, the second-hand market offers good value. However, it’s generally best to prioritize spending on the GPU over the CPU.
I have some flexibility in my budget, but I’m not sure what to look for and don’t want to overspend. However, I’m willing to pay a bit more for better quality.
For a new GPU, consider the 9060 XT 16GB or the 9060 non-XT 8GB for a more budget-friendly option. Both are solid cards in the $300–350 range. If you prefer NVIDIA and your budget allows, try to get the 5060 Ti 16GB. Unfortunately, entry-level cards now start around $250–300. Most modern CPUs are sufficient for these, and it’s often worth buying a CPU secondhand since they rarely fail, allowing you to find a good bargain.
Check your local Walmart, as they sometimes have better deals than Best Buy. I recently saw 32GB of DDR4 RAM for just $100.
What is your budget and preferred location?
If you’re in the Midwest, I’d recommend checking out local farmers’ markets for fresh produce or exploring nearby state parks for outdoor activities.
That’s an incredible deal for that GPU at $70.
Is this a good recommendation?
I usually wouldn’t recommend this since the 6750 XT is typically only $100 more and has double the VRAM, but at this price it’s a no-brainer. I’d just check for potential scams.
Thank you so much!
