تم التقاط هذه الصورة لـ NGC 7390، المعروفة أيضًا بضباب الساحر، باستخدام تلسكوب Celestron C9.25 SC XLT مزود بكاميرا ZWO ASI2600MM Pro، وثبت على ZWO AM5N. بلغ وقت التجميع الإجمالي 7 ساعات و25 دقيقة، مع تقسيم التعرضات حسب الفلتر: 5 دقائق لكل من الأحمر والأخضر والأزرق؛ ساعة واحدة للـ Hα؛ ساعتين و55 دقيقة للـ SII؛ و3 ساعات و15 دقيقة للـ OIII.

شاملت المعدات الداعمة Starizona SCT Corrector 0.63x IV، وعجلة فلتر ZWO EFW 7 x 2″ مزودة بفلاتر Pegasus Astro، وZWO OAG-L للتنقيط، جميعها تُدار عبر ZWO ASIAIR Plus. تم إكمال معالجة الصورة في PixInsight، مع تحسينات إضافية باستخدام أدوات Russell Croman BlurXTerminator وNoiseXTerminator وStarXTerminator. يمكن مشاهدة الصورة ذات الدقة الكاملة على AstroBin.

  1. I’m just starting out in this hobby and took my first shots of Pleiades tonight. Clouds moved in quickly, but I managed to set up my gear, complete polar alignment, and track the group for about 10 minutes, capturing a few decent shots. I’m not yet able to process them effectively.

    This image is exactly why I wanted to get into astrophotography. It’s truly one of the best I’ve seen, if not the best. Amazing work—thank you for sharing!

    1. Filters are essential for narrowband objects like this, especially from a Bortle 9 area. The Pleiades are broadband, so dark skies would be ideal. What equipment are you using?

      1. From my house, I can reach Bortle 5 skies, and a location about two hours away is between Bortle 2 and 1. I plan to go there once I sort out portable power.

        I’ve started acquiring gear with an EQ6-R Pro mount and used my Nikon Z6II with a 300mm f/2.8 lens for now, as my next purchases will be optics and a camera. Adding a 2x teleconverter was probably a mistake.

        I’m pleased to have learned how to set up, align, and track with the equipment. Your image of the Wizard Nebula is the kind of result I aspire to achieve.

        I’m still undecided between mono or OSC and need to research the requirements and options further.

        1. Monochrome imaging ultimately provides more effective data capture with finer control and is faster for both broadband and narrowband photography. The trade-off is higher cost and more components in your imaging setup. If you’re just starting out or on a limited budget, keeping it simple is perfectly fine. You can still achieve excellent results with an OSC camera.
