Is the Nikon ZR Good for Everyday Photography? Pros, Cons & Real-World Use
I had the chance to test the ZR at an official store, and it left quite an impression.
The camera feels a full size larger than I expected—definitely substantial in hand.
The screen lives up to the hype online: vibrant, sharp, and a real pleasure to view.
Its interface carries a hint of that RED aesthetic, sleek and modern.

Yet, the menu system remains unmistakably classic Nikon, familiar and functional.
Build quality is outstanding—solid, refined, and a joy to hold.
It’s a complete departure from the BF, almost like night and day.
I was already let down by the ZF’s overly flashy color options.
Now I’m curious: will the ZR manage to strike the right balance this time around?

If I skip shooting in Raw, does that mean I’m stuck with Nlog straight out of Pandora?
It feels like Nikon has put in tremendous effort and dedication,
but somehow it always lands just shy of hitting that next level of greatness.
Anyone with hands-on experience care to weigh in with some insights?
