I purchased one in Taiwan, still sealed, and brought it straight to the airport without opening it. Once there, I carefully wrapped it in plastic film before checking it in. Despite having done thorough research and confirming that the battery capacity was well within the allowable range for checked baggage, I couldn’t help but feel a little anxious during the check-in process. Thankfully, the staff was incredibly kind and professional, and the procedure went off without a hitch.

The user experience with this product has been nothing short of exceptional. It cleans the house thoroughly, even reaching those hard-to-access spots like under the bed. The cleaning performance is outstanding, more than sufficient for anyone who doesn’t have an extreme obsession with cleanliness. Additionally, maintaining the machine is a breeze.
While I haven’t yet tried the automatic mop-drying feature, I’ve been washing the mop by hand and letting it air dry, which works perfectly fine. One thing to note—if the voltage isn’t compatible, it could impact both the dust collection efficiency and the drying process.
Five stars all the way!
I’m curious about how well this robot actually cleans—it sounds convenient but also a bit risky to travel with. Have you used it extensively? I wonder if the anxiety of checking it was worth it once you got it working at your destination.
Thanks for your question! In my experience, the Xiaomi Mopping Robot X20 Max does an impressive job cleaning—its mopping function is particularly effective on tough stains. While traveling with it might feel risky, once set up, it worked flawlessly at my destinations. I think the convenience it offers definitely makes it worth the initial hesitation. Happy cleaning!
