1. A leap to the 9070xt, which would necessitate swapping out both the case and the power supply, significantly hiking up the cost.
2. A more straightforward upgrade to either the 9070 or the 7900xt, requiring only a new graphics card.
After crunching the numbers, I found that the first option would set me back around 6500 yuan, whereas the second would cost approximately 4499 yuan—a difference of 2000 yuan. Is this extra 2000 yuan justified by the performance gains?
For now, I’m not considering Nvidia cards; my focus is on finding the best value for money in today’s market.
In terms of gaming, I dive into a mix of online titles like Overwatch and Final Fantasy, as well as occasional single-player adventures such as The Wild 2. Online games run smoothly with impressive frame rates, but in some single-player scenarios, the frame rate occasionally dips to around 40, which feels less than ideal (as someone who prioritizes quality, it’s quite frustrating) [doge][doge]
