Of course, after work I headed to Xujiahui to pick it up in person. Mission accomplished—everything went smoothly.

P2: Initially, the screen refused to light up, and the motherboard’s error light kept flashing. Panic set in as I assumed it was a critical failure. However, upon closer inspection, I realized the graphics card simply hadn’t been seated properly. The culprit? The motherboard (TUF B850M Plus) has its graphics card slot positioned second, and due to the thickness of the card, it got obstructed by audio jumpers and other components beneath the board.

  1. I had a similar issue with my last GPU where it wasn’t seated properly, so that’s definitely something to double-check right away. It’s good you figured it out though, those kinds of troubleshooting moments can be stressful! The review seems to cover both the pros and cons well, especially since performance can vary depending on how things are installed. I’m curious to hear more about its actual gaming performance now.

  2. I had a similar issue with my GPU seating—seems like a common problem with thicker cards and certain motherboard layouts. It’s always nerve-wracking when things don’t power on right away, but glad you figured it out! The performance review makes it sound like this card is a powerhouse, especially for gaming. I’ll definitely consider it if I upgrade my setup soon.

  3. Oh man, that initial panic when the screen wouldn’t turn on must’ve been awful! Glad it was just a seating issue – those thick GPUs can be such a pain to install sometimes. The Divine Dragon looks amazing though, how are the temps under load?
