The demo unit, which was originally a brand-new model, has an interesting story. The unit that malfunctioned and ended up in the water? That one was actually a refurbished device. On the other hand, the unit that mysteriously took off with a black screen was indeed brand new, meeting all of the factory’s rigorous quality standards. Despite this, it feels so familiar in my hands—it’s truly impressive how DJI’s drone flight system manages to leave such a lasting impression.
