From Drone Selfies to Contracted DJI Photographer: My Unbelievable Journey
Hello! I’m Su Mu. To ensure I could capture my own travel memories while journeying solo, I made the decision to take selfies without relying on others. In 2018, I purchased my first drone, the DJI Mavic Pro, to document my working holiday in Australia. Over time, I grew deeply passionate about the breathtaking aerial perspective it offered.
This passion led me to bring my drone along on trips to Tibet and Xinjiang, where I captured the awe-inspiring landscapes of China ⛰️. Through relentless practice and learning, I eventually became a contracted photographer for DJI, earning their official recognition—a moment that filled me with immense joy and pride.
I will continue to strive, capturing and preserving even more unforgettable moments. ❤️

1⃣️ Before taking your drone to the skies, familiarize yourself thoroughly with its basic operations using the official user guide.
2⃣️ For your maiden flight, opt for a location with minimal buildings and people, ideally an open space, to minimize the risk of crashes due to operational errors.
3⃣️ It’s highly recommended that beginners invest in DJI Care Refresh for added peace of mind as you explore the world of drones.
4⃣️ Watch videos and works shared by fellow bloggers to refine your composition skills, enhance your aesthetic sense, and elevate your post-processing abilities.
✈️ Essential Drone Accessories:
When you first acquire your drone, don’t forget to purchase a memory card!! Avoid the frustration of realizing mid-trip that you’ve forgotten this crucial component!! The memory card I currently use for my drone is the Lexar/PLAY microSD 1TB, boasting a lightning-fast transfer speed of up to 150 MB/s. It’s perfectly suited for both drones and action cameras, enabling me to shoot stunning 1080P HD videos and ultra-clear photos with ample storage capacity.
