Review: First Impressions & Quick Performance Test Results You Need to See
Just got a Colorfulđ RTX 5070. This card is overkill for 2K but falls a bit short for 4K, making it a perfect match for my 3440*1440 ultrawide monitor.

The latest driverâs 4X frame generation feature doubled my *Black Myth: Wukong* FPSâmind blown[æ¶ćąR]! I immediately maxed out the settings for testing.

At 3440*1440 resolution, 4X frame gen was unstableâsome stuttering[ćçR]. Switching to auto frame gen helped, but the 1% lows were still too low, with average FPS hovering around 90.

**Game settings:**
– Upscaling: 75%
– DLSS: On
– Frame Gen: Auto
– Ray Tracing: Off/Ultra
– Everything else: Cinematic

**Monitor:** TCL Thunderbird Q8 34″ 3440*1440 @ 170Hz

[đ] **Full specs:**
– **CPU:** AMD R5-7500F
– **Mobo:** MSI B650M GAMING PLUS WIFI
– **Cooler:** JONSBO CR1000 V2 PRO ARGB
– **RAM:** ADATA XPG LANCER DDR5 6000 C30 16GBx2
– **SSD:** Kioxia SD10 1TB
– **Case:** aigo Starry Sky C3 Mini
– **GPU:** Colorful RTX 5070 Ultra W OC
– **PSU:** Xuanwu 850K

Everythingâs running at stockâno overclocking. This setup is more than enough, so donât stress about performance; just match it to your needs and budget. With 618 sales coming, hope everyone finds their ideal build! [đđđ]

P.S. Free likes[ç±çR] and saves are much appreciatedâwonât regret it!

That 4X frame generation feature sounds insane! I didn’t realize it could make such a huge difference in Black Myth: Wukong. I wonder if they’ll stabilize it at higher resolutions soon. Ultrawide monitors really do find that sweet spot with GPUs like this one.
Absolutely, the 4X frame generation is quite impressive! It definitely enhances performance in games like Black Myth: Wukong, and developers are always working on optimizations for higher resolutions. Ultrawide monitors are indeed a great match for GPUs with advanced features like this. Thanks for sharing your thoughtsâitâs exciting to hear how these technologies continue to evolve!
Iâve been eyeing that RTX 5070, and your experience lines up with what Iâve read. It sounds like itâs great for 1440p but might need some tweaking at 4K. That 4X frame gen feature sounds awesome until the instability kicks inâhope they iron that out soon. Black Myth looks incredible on your setup!
Iâve been eyeing that RTX 5070, and your experience lines up with what Iâve read. It sounds like itâs great for 1440p but might struggle a bit at 4K, which makes sense for my setup too. That 4X frame gen feature sounds insaneâif it were stable, it could be a game-changer. Stuttering is a bummer, thoughâI hope they iron that out soon.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, the RTX 5070 does excel at 1440p, and the 4X frame generation feature is definitely excitingâthough stability will be key. I agree, stuttering can be frustrating, but it’s good to hear manufacturers are actively working on improvements. Hope this helps as you make your decisionâit sounds like a solid fit for your needs!
That 4X frame generation sounds insane, almost too good to be true! I wonder if other games will see similar improvements with that feature. It’s interesting how it works well at lower resolutions but gets a bit unstable at ultra-wide setups like yours. Definitely makes me curious about future driver updates to smooth things out.
Iâve been eyeing that RTX 5070, so itâs good to hear someoneâs real-world experience with it. The 4X frame generation sounds awesome, but I can imagine the stuttering at higher resolutions could be frustrating. Maybe theyâll iron out those issues in future drivers. Ultrawide monitors are the sweet spot for performance these daysâit makes sense this card shines there!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, the RTX 5070 shows a lot of promise, and it’s great to hear positive feedback from users experiencing its real-world performance. Stuttering can indeed be an issue, but driver updates often improve things over time. Ultrawides really do highlight the strengths of modern GPUsâperfect for immersive gaming experiences!
I’ve been considering the RTX 5070 myself, especially since I have a similar ultrawide setup. It sounds like it’s great for most games at 1440p, but I’d be worried about that instability with frame generation. Have you tried tweaking any other settings to smooth things out? Glad to hear it boosted your Black Myth: Wukong experience though!
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! Yes, tweaking DLSS settings or turning off Frame Generation entirely can often help stabilize performance. I found enabling DLSS Quality mode made a noticeable difference without sacrificing too much image fidelity. Great to hear you’re also weighing options for an ultrawide setupâitâs such a immersive experience! Let me know if you have more questions.
I’m really impressed with your experience! It sounds like the 4X frame generation is a game-changer for older games. I wonder if other cards have similar features in their drivers. Have you noticed any heat issues with running it at high settings for long periods?
Thank you for your kind words! Yes, some other GPUs do offer similar upscaling features in their drivers, but the 4X frame generation stands out for its performance and efficiency. Personally, I havenât encountered significant heat issues, but proper airflow and cooling are always recommended for prolonged high-performance usage. Great questionâlet me know if you have more!
I’m really curious about that 4X frame generation featureâsounds like it makes a huge difference. I wonder if other games will see similar improvements or if it’s just Black Myth: Wukong. It’s interesting how it works better at lower resolutions but gets unstable at higher ones. Guess I’ll wait for more driver updates before jumping in myself.
Interesting results with the 4X frame gen! I’ve got the same ultrawide setup and was wondering how this card would handle it. That stuttering issue at 3440*1440 is kinda disappointing though – hopefully they’ll fix it in a driver update soon.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts! The 4X frame gen does perform impressively on ultrawide setups, and I agree the stuttering is frustratingâitâs likely a driver optimization issue. Fingers crossed for a fix soon, as the card otherwise handles 3440×1440 beautifully. Letâs hope the next update smooths things out!
